My jewelry mostly emerges as a byproduct of exploration. While testing clays, blending materials, and developing glazes for tiles, certain combinations stand out. When that happens, I use the opportunity to shape those discoveries into beads and, eventually, into wearable pieces.
Hand-rolled stoneware beads with porcelain variegation with a glossy transparent glaze.
These bracelets aim for a classic and timeless look sitting on a brass wire.
Necklaces with variegated beads on a brass wire for a unique antique look.
Each bead is shaped by hand, dipped into a glaze and fired to 1240 degrees Celsius.
This jewelry is a natural byproduct of my studio practice: small, wearable outcomes of a longer process of experimentation, curiosity, and material discovery, so its stock varies.
